My brother has this Bajaj Discover 125. Bought in Oct 04 from Khivraj, Bangalore. Since he was the first buyer he got free accessories for Rs500 and 6 free Teflon coating. The bike was terrific. The engine wassmooth and suspension, great. The switchgear and lights were delightful.
Hisother bike under consideration was Splendor, but Discover scoredbecause it came across as a more’value-for-money’ package. Being new, everybody used to ask him about the bike in the city and it felt good.He got an unbelievable mileage of 65KMPL. Now he gets 50-55KMPL.
Hewas so happy with its performance that he didn’t want to give to forservice until he knew it was someone reliable. Khivraj Service is okaybut Jatti really takes care of the vehicle.
The parts wouldbreak down like any other bike, but very minimal. Average service costis around Rs 1000. They change the indicator every time, as its veryfragile.
But why does Bajaj Service replace parts instead of repairing? Anyway replacing makes the bike look good.
