When I planned to buy new bike in this apr’06 I was very confused cause I am always very selective. and some times it is very frustating if the thing you buy is not right. as used to drive yamaha
rx100( with good pick up and attracting sound)
pulser(good looking+)
splendour(lliitttle back pain)
I want the bike with good look as ’pul’ do and with reasonable milage.the discver with ktech is one that I don’t want but when I see dts-i one just select it and I am happy with performence.
the sitting is good at least good than herohonda & I am getting nearely 65+ milage and the look and pickup and the self start features are very good.
suspention is good but the best one I still thing is mono suspention of unicorn. though it improves some riding.
the look is different and one thing is sure that after riding discover dts-i there are very few indian bikes you like to drive
special note(updated):as in this world there are thousands of bikes model so I am not claiming that the discover is best in world but suerely worth of price but I want to share one special case=====>When I plan to buy the discover I went to nashik showroom with my father who used to work in telco(tata motor) having more knowlede of vehichels than me and he found a cluth plate problem in the bike which we suppose to buying. then we change the model and everything is very well for me. I considered with some my mechanics friend they give my model green signal but if my rejected model is selled by dealrer despite returning it to company then the buyer of that bike should have lifetime problem and unwanted headach. this shows that there are mfd. problem in baja so be carefull.
