Its my first review on MouthShut and its a positive one. While shortlisting for a bike I gave priority to fuel efficiency and looks. Bajaj Discover was the only choice with both aspects. Going through lots of reviews and test riding, Finally I bought it.
Now it has completed 3400 kms and working nicely. Am getting 80-85 kmpl mileage. KVR, the bajaj dealer in Kerala arranged a Mileage Challenge last week. I got an opportunity to test my bike’s mileage scientifically. I got 101 kmpl. Seriously am not joking. Bajaj succeeded in making the bike fuel efficient without compromising with power. While riding we dont feel like riding an 100 cc bike. But there are some issues while crossing 45 kmph speed. The bike vibrates for an extend. But the vibration stops after crossing 65 kmph .
I cant comment on reliability now. But for last four months, it didn’t give me any kind of headache.
It has got good graphics. The heat cover printed ’ExhausTec’ looks cool. The LED tail lamp and pilot lamp is great. But I didn’t like the wide headlight. So I put some sticker works on it. Overall the bike looks modern. The rear shock absorber gives great comfort while riding with pillion. The front shock absorber makes some noise, but its fine.
