I was hunting a bike that will have a good average, within the capacity of 110-150cc, and more importantly, I can afford it. A couple of weeks surveys and I grabbed Bajaj Discover 125 merely on the merit of the affordable budget and yet falling in a styled series bike. Discover 125 was the best fit bike meeting my requirement. I had to travel daily about 60 km, within the city and suburbs. I chose a red color model and with no heavy accessories, I was able to ride the bike in comfort. All 5 gears served the best speed slots, I experienced.
The look and style are not less than any heavy range of 150 cc bikes. The slick, sturdy frame brings a comfortable sitting posture, prevents back strain. What I liked most is the disk brake. The mechanism of sudden control on the moving bike is admirable. I use both breaks in tandem to save balance. Skidding is rare for Discover as it is not too tall or not flat. The back tier is gripping well. Pickup needs no long pull, but 10 seconds is what I recommend to throttle, and shift gear. In top gear on highways, the speed of 80 makes no alarming vibrations. I found the speed below 70 is the best suitable for long rides. In terms of economy, the average mileage of more than 60 is assured. More than that is a bonus. Of course, the long ride outskirt brings it even high. I recommend the bike to middle-class youths and working-class families. It is not that delicate to safeguard against climate change.
The start ignition is powerful, and the battery hardly drained. I am using Discover for 4 years now. The firing makes a bit of noisy sound when pulled on slopes, however, regular service suffices the hurdles. The maintenance is average for an oil change and servicing of drums.
On the demerits, I only see the dullness on the material finish fades over time. The engine needs regular servicing as recommended by Bajaj. In totality, the bike a blessed alternate to the majority folks seeking economy class BIKE.
