My 1st bike was Tvs Max 100, HH Street, thn Vistor GLX, HH Hunk, RE Thunderbird TBTS.and now I bought Discover 150cc (500 kms old).after a lot of thoughts, it is a very good bike on term of smoothness and comfort , a total commuter bike.
Some plus points -
/- excellent road grip compared to other 150cc segment
/- excellent handling in traffic , dense traffic
/- attractive sitting posture
/- Soundless (wear a helmet and no sound is heard)
/- Better pickup compared to other 150cc segment in any gear
/- decent looks but cool
/- feels a very tough motor bike
/- Braking is good
/- Light and sporty
/- maintainence free bike
now the negative ones
/- Seat is quiet hard and will surely give u a butt ache in long rides (remake the seat)
/- it surely deserved a digital meter, or atleast an rpm meter ws most welcome
/- that big fuel meter was not at all necessary
/- Gear shifting is a problem (learn to live with it)
and thats all
u see the +ve points are much heavier compared to the -ve ones, which makes the owners happy like me.
A FEW SELFMADE MODIFICATIONS:
/- put the New Pulsar NS mirrors (once it is out in market)
/- make a custom saree guard square type and smaller.
/- open the backlight cover and sticker the crome area black thn fix it.
/- color the handlebar Black by any chance
/- apply crome sticker on that "150" written
thats it , it not only gives u a different feel but, also preserves the originality of the bike.
GO FOR IT Guys...believe me its worth a buy....a very good product from BAJAJ, hats off.
