We recently bought a SONY 29’’ flat CRT TV from this shop which is in Panjagutta. When we went to their shop, they didn’t tell us that they are running out of stock and they only had the display piece. We paid the full amount and they promised to deliver a fresh piece on same day. They brought the piece in the mid night and delivered. Their people came the next day morning to install it & give demo. We then observed that the seal was not the company’s and the piece looked like a used one as it had dust, scratches etc. TV manual was also missing from the packing and there is no warranty card. We told that that we need a fresh piece. They told that because the piece has come from godown, it was like that. But when we asked how can dust etc.. penetrate through a polythne sealed cover, they didn’t have an answer. Finally they agreed to replace the piece in couple of days.
We had to remind them couple of times about the replacement and everytime we got the same answer "Stock is coming tomorrow & it will be delivered on the same day". They didn’t even showed basic courtesy over phone while answering our call. We were fed up with this torture for 20 days& one fine day my wife went to their shop to check what’s wrong with them. When she didn’t get proper response from them, she went mad and shouted at their executives before all the customers. They were still telling that stcok will come next day. But my wife didn’t agree for it & demanded a refund. Luckily, they agreed to return our amount and take their TV back. It happened just today. Need to see whether they will be atleast prompt to pick their TV from our house.
