I had taken a home loan from Bajaj Finserv and closed it in Nov2019. But even after 2 months, I have not received my original documents back. I visited the Residency Road Branch in Bangalore and asked them to return my documents. I was shocked to hear them say that they don’t have my documents.
They instead asked me the POD number to track the documents which is their internal tracking number.
To find out which branch has my documents, I wrote an email to their customer care(wecare@bajajfinserv.in) where they gave me an even shocking response. They said I can visit any of the 6 branches to collect my original documents as if they have created 6 copies of my original documents and all these branches them. Below is the response from Bajaj finserv in quotes: -

[PS: Btw, the Bajaj Finserv customer care number never works. So, that is not an option at all]
Even after multiple follow-ups, Bajaj Finserv is unable to give a clear answer where are my original documents.
There is no option left for me other than raising a police complaint and going to the judiciary for harassment and misplacing my documents.
Recommendation: Never take a loan from Bajajfinserv. Their work ethics are completely unprofessional.
