Immoral Bajaj Finserv resorts to illegal threats

2010 loan about 25k taken for TV.

paid 12 installments with 2 cheque bounces due to insufficient funds.

paid penalty and late payment fees as there were insufficient funds.

repaid all amount in 12 months per plan.

Now, in 2016 I get calls from "Delhi Police" ( Bajaj recovery goons) asking me why I did not come to court proceedings? The "Delhi police" wont tell what is the issue or what I have done.

I told I don’t have anything to do with Delhi or police as I am from South Indian city.

But they keep calling and tell me that I must visit Bajaj Finserv office immediately and they will call again.

I went on next day to office only to find that there is a "Linked loan" that I was not aware or told. My bounced cheque caused non-payment of EMI to this linked account.

More importantly, It’s late payment charges were not paid.

So they were charging me 150*2 every month for 5 years and there were no mails letters calls even though I have not changed my address or number and lived in same place all the time.

my dues were 20k+!

After explaining my position and telling I will go to consumer court, they said pay 3k and we will give NOC!

I got it all closed right there by paying 3k as I did not want to waste my time on these Bajaj folks ever again.

Does Delhi police know that Bajaj FinServ uses their name to threaten customers?

Be aware of BF and make sure you dont have linked accounts and if so they also close when you repay all money.

Remember there is no such thing called Zero interest. Don/t be fooled.
