My brother in law bought this bike in 2000 and after a couple of years, I took over and am running this bike. Everything about this bike is wonderful. It’s a pity that I am going to part with this beautiful one after almost a decade of service. ( I am writing about this beauty on the eve of 2010)
The mileage is between 45 -50. The maintenance required has just increased (naturally) as it is a decade old. It’s between very reliable and (touchwood) has never let me down. Once you get into the grips of the bike you can trust you like your best friend. It’s a pity that the Bajaj people did not go beyond the initial production.
The brakes are reliable (the main one and the disc brake). I would in fact tell the Bajaj people to get back and produce this wonderful machine. Better than most of the products going at present on the road. I don’t see any of the present lot running successfully on the road for a decade. Due to personal reasons, I am moving to Splendour Plus or Access 125.
But in the heart of hearts, I will miss this beautiful and reliable friend once I dispose it off. Thanks to the Bajaj people for producing this wonder of the road. Also I would take this forum to thank my mechanic for helping me in the successful maintenance of this vehicle.
