I am also facing the same hype as you all might be witnessing about Platina. I dont have any clear idea about the bike, as I have not driven it yet. But so far from all the available sources I Have found it OK, compared to other bikes of its class. In fact I am planing to purchase it. BUT....I have come to know that Bajaj is about to exit from the 100 cc segment, reason low margins ! its the information which the senior people from bajaj has revealed. In this scenario.
I am a bit confused that what should I do. My information says that Bajaj will use its patented DTSi technology in its Bikes. and will drop the normal four stroke tech. In this scenario what should a person do, who is about to purchase such bike (which can be withdrawn from the market any time ).To support such claims we have history of bajaj Bikes which it launches and withdraws quickly leaving the owners astonished with there antique pieces.
Caliber, caliber croma, Four S champion, Endura, RTZ, Legend , Saffire all supports my claim.I have shortlisted two bikes the other one is hero honda CD delux. But when I compare it with features of platina I don’t find it close to Platina Whether its Price, spares cost or the other features. One request If you have any information about CD deluxe which gives it edge over Platina kindly share it with me. Kindly help me out and write your comments on my posting.
