Comman Mans Bike: Reliable
Guys,
I am riding Platina from its first month of launch and have drive it for good 24000 Kms. Yes! Thats true. after Platina, I rarely used public transport(which is most affordable/available in delhi). I would rate this bike Very Good on:
Comfort
Maintainace
REliability
Fuel Efficiency(still giving me 65+ Kms after 6 services)
Bajaj has kept the body weight on a lower scale for higher engine efficiency. Good for a person who is 70-80 KGs but beyond that - go for Discover/Pulsar.
Caution, never compare your Bike with Pulsar or other higher brands, it only gives frustration. Platina makes you mobile.
The only drawbacks are:
lower quality of body paint
Puncture prone tyres and tube
Brakes(needs changes every now and then)(
Low intensity of head light
Winter kick start problem
All in all it’s a good companion on Indian roads.
