You cannot expect cooling effect of an air conditioner by an air cooler. This is good for a 12 sqft room. You can stay without sweating in a small room in summer. Definitely it is not very cooling because air cooler technology is based on spraying very tiny water droplets into air. What you need is a good air blower in Air Cooler. Bajaj Room Cooler PX 97 Torque has it. It doesn’t blow all stuff out of your room and that is a good thing. Thumbs up to the seller. Very good packaging. Pros: 1. Good water tank ( 36 liters capacity) ensures full day running of the air cooler. 2. Wheels: good mobility in house. 3. Does not leak water. 4. Does not spay water droplets: you don’t feel the water in air. 5. Low noise. Cons: 1. Product manual is junk. I had to figure out the button functions by myself. Swing OFF, Swing Only No Pump, Swing and water pump, Pump only. 2. Swing function is not great does not deflect the air well. 3. Water distribution on cooling pad is bad. Cooling pads were partially dry even while running with pump. 4. Plastic quality is cheap but it is OK considering the price. 5. Water level indicator ( a red moving plastic stick) is not visible from far. Tips for better results: 1. Pour cold water. 2. Keep windows slightly open in far front and near back of the air cooler. 3. Run with swing+ pump One more thing: Filling water can be a tedious process if you pour water using a mug. I suggest you to use a flexible pipe fitted to tap to fill water
