Pulsar 150

Pulsar is the most popular bike from the Bajaj for a decade now. There are THOUSANDS of Pulsar maniac! people . Pulsar is like a brand bike in India. There are different cc of Pulsar 135, 150, 180, 220. Don’t forget the new addition to this family Pulsar 200ns. In this bike review im gonna tell you more about Pulsar 150.

  • styling -This is the first bike in India to come up with the digital console. The head light, the eye catchy big tank etc etc just is different( But headlight is nearly same as its elder brother:p). But many have problem with the big tank. They say it spoils the look of the bike. Anyway one cant comments on their taste. But overall it looks good.

Engine-Pulsar is powered by Dts-i(Digital Twin Spark Ignition) engine. Dts-i is the trade mark of bajaj. Best engine to get the best out of each drop of petrol( Considering the petrol price hike nowadays). Draw back of this is engine becomes harsh gradually if not maintained properly. This may be minimized by proper servicing and maintaining the engine. The maintenance of the bike is not a big problem. But sometimes minor issues does occur. But not to be worried.

Handling-The Pulsar at first feels a little heavy but as you start riding it doesn’t feel much. It takes time to get adjusted to it. But after that one can zip through even the tight traffic condition. One can go for a long rides with the bike. Minor back pain occurs if you go for a very long ride as it is not a cruiser bike and is just a commuter. The gear box is smooth but it makes "knock" sound as the days pass. The gear just sometimes jump to other gear or false neutral. In many bikes even in bikes like splendor sometimes it just jumps to false neutral. I just dono the reason for this.

Mileage-Mileage may be around 50-55 per litre. It varies from one bike to other as the rider is different and their riding styles are different. One of my friend told me he gets 60 kmpl. I dint believe him and I checked. It is giving that much. That’s a good sign of maintaining the bike. As I said it depends on the rider and how you maintain the bike.
