Ive been using Pulsar DTS I 150 for a few years. The fuel consumption with more comparative to other bikes in this category, This is not a maintenance free bike. It needs constant inputs(a whole in your pocket), The looks from outside are great, the design is awesome, one of the best in the category. I dont recommend this bike unless you are ready to shell decent money on it on a regular basis.
The twin spark technology used in the engine is great. Disk breaks look great and is great addition to the bike. The engine gets heated up too quickly on long rides. The smoke pipe gets damaged in a couple of years. You need to shell another Rs.3000 for its replacement. The control of the bike is great. The grip of the tyres is awesome. But, you can feel a little uncomfortable on the seat on a long ride.
I feel there should be some airtight and easily openable space for keeping bike documents.
