I bought pulsar 4 years back n till now I did\nt find any major issues with this bike.smooth drive, good mileage in city n on HWay as well.u can go with pulsar 80 to 90 km/h. The one thing v have to do with pulsar is regular maintence, servicing and changing engine oil after every 2000 to 3000 km.for me Riding pulsar 150 is heavenly experience.
It is a very good bike.and its sound is lovely.and it is ready to go in any gear.i driven my friends 150 for two days and now.i am thinking to buy150.before it\s drive. I was in love with yamaha fazer.but abb fir se sochna pdegaa.for me.mileage doesn\t matter. But look matters. Look wise fazer version 2.0 iss better than 150but fazer haven\t a mature adult sound.but one more thing. 150 looks better without side glasses. But it makes your ride very risky.and in fazer. Side glasses are looks attractive.
Pulsar bikes usually perform good in initial 1-2 years. But after that the maintenance cycle starts which never stops therafter.\n\nI have changes engine(once), cluch plate(several times), wiring, electrical display(once), switches on the handle(once), carburettor( twice), chain sprocket(6 times in 8 years), piston rod(once), shaft(once) and many other internal parts.\n\nThe point here is that the maintenance is very high even after parts being comparatively cheaper than hero/honda.\n\nAlso engine after replacment sucks. Company fitted engine gives good mileage and power. After getting engine changed in service center itgave a mileage of 38-40 and I also lost pick up. Even after folllowing up multiple times the simple keep changing other parts.\n\n\nService center sucks bad as well. They will fix something and brwak some other part.\n\nFir instance I got my engine replaced by khivraj motors bangalore, but they damaged by self start. After asking fie the issue they asked me to replace and did not agree that the starter was working ever.\n\nSo whenever u go to a service center with an issue they will always ask u to change somehing\n\n\"STAY AWAY\"
