I am an owner of p180 classic with (ug3 modified) year 2002 ‘gol light wala’.
There is no 180 who beat my classic 180 in India. No modified engine & no other modification except ug3 my bike gives power like ‘fire’ believe me, engine is not in good condition actually piston gets scratched in fact mechanic says I have to change block piston, but what happened when I went to dealer he said ill get new ‘OG’ block piston in near about 3000/- .
Im very conscious about parts. When I asked him can I use this block piston in DTSI 180 or 150 he said "ya why not?". Just tell my how its possible that same size of block piston can be generate different hoarse power 12 or 15 (bhp).
So I decided to not going to change my Bajaj made engine coz Im still getting proper power & mileage about 40 kmpl but after a long drive about 40-50 km engine goes like a volcano. I change engine oil regularly after 1000 km of Mobile 1, but I know Im going face a big problem from engine in future but what to do?
And one more problem Im facing that some times my bike stuck like an empty fuel even theres more then 1 lt. fuel in the tank but when I open the tank flap for few minutes its stars normally. god knows whats the problem? coz I cleaned the carburettor & fuel tank. After monsoon still its same. Otherwise, my bike is as perfect as I want even I got offer of 25, 000 /- from a mechanic, but no I don’t want to sell my bike bcoz its my 2nd girlfriend.
And those who complaining about the gear box don’t blame Pulsar coz I found that those who have Bajaj scooter or even auto rickshaw wala are facing the gear changing problem so I think in Bajaj when neutral comes between the gears they face the problem. They have to change their gear shifting strategy, but remember only BAJAJ is the worlds largest three wheeler manufacturer company.
