Fear The Black well the statement the Bajaj people have come up with for the new PULSAR180 is really impressive. I wish they could have shown a similar performance as far as the advertisement goes. I have a Pulsar 180 blue with the black engine. This review is more about my irritation about the ad for the bike we all own. Come on now they have made a bike which makes us proud to be its owners. We atleast deserve a better ad for the bike; atleast the BIKE deserves. Do you all remember guys the first ads of the pulsar where the pulsar classic headlight would turn towards a passing by girl. It made you feel like you want to own that bike right here right now. And the ad during the launch of the DTSi version (without mag wheel) when a DTSi overtakes the old classic by performing a stunt and comming to a stoppie halt thus giving importance to both the old classic version as well as the new Dtsi. Atleast it made ME feel as if that now even GOD cant stop me from buying that bike. Note that in all these ads full attension was given to the bike and not to the ones riding it. Thats waht u call a good ad for a good bike.
But now see the ad for the new PULSAR180, the one with the oneliner Fear The Black. It seems that they are more intrested in showcasing and selling the Male Model and his goggle instead of the Bike. The ad was more like saying Ahh...so there was a 180 too in that ad? The way the model rides his bike on the side walls of a dam...come on, show something that is practical & possible. The ad has a holywood copied song........A complete reciepy of a s**t ad for a great bike. Even my little brother teases me Bhaiya...when will you take me to the dam?
I am writing this as my protest against the ad the bajaj people have made for the bike whose we are proud owners. This ad should be considered as a an insult to the bike, the existing and the future owners of the PULSAR180 BLACK. Please make ads which will make you feel like buying this bike...........START WALKING.
P.S. The apache people have come up with a competitive ad for their bike....learn something my dear Bajaj.
