Expectations remained the same, the new Pulsar RS 200 is still imagined with the 200 NS engine. But for RS200, Bajaj has launched the Fi(Fuel Injected) version of the 199.5cc engine. The Fi version produces 24.2 BHP(24.5 PS) @ 9750 rpm which definitely shatters the enemys wining desire. A max torque of 18.6 NM @ 8000 rpm is produced. Comparatively, the Non-Fi 200NS develops maximum power and maximum torque of 23.17 Bhp @ 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm @ 8000 rpm respectively. The engine houses six gears, each for a perfect shift and a considerable lead.
Bajaj Pulsar is a born performer and evolution took it to a new milestone, an unmatched race machine. The top speed of the bike is 140.8 KMPH and it should cross the 100 KMPH mark under 10 seconds! The company claimed mileage of RS200 is 54 KMPL(@ constant speed of 58 KMPH) and you can expect it to return real-world figure of around 30-35 KMPL in city and 40-45 KMPL on highways.
