Hi buddy this is an update of my review and my experience earlier I posted my reviwe on **Dec 02, 2008 04:04 PM .**

. this is the first time im doin any review about my **BIKE**. I had to wait for almost 2 months for this BIKE. I made d bookin on 24th july07 and I got it on **26th sept07 **at **KHIVRAJ showroom banglore.**. till now I did **10667**kms dated **2nd december2008**. it has been an awsome experience for me to ride **P22O** I previously did bikin on my legendary **YEZDI CLASSIC(MORE RESPECT DAN P220).**. not a single accident happened till nw. let me start this frm first look I fell in love wit its looks wen I saw it for the first time impressive **HOODED PREDATOR FAIRING** and wide **TYRES **turned me on and d colour was **BLACK**. after finishing off d formalities the showroom prerso wen I took **P220 **for d first time every1 around turned towards me and they asked each and everything abt bike’s cost, mileage, cc etc I had to tell them everythig I kno abt this bike. soon I felt like a celebrity as I was the first guy to have it in my area and my college. it was a beautiful experience for me.

high performance front SHOCKS,

no KICK START.

OIL COOLED ENGINE.**. these r the features which makes **P220** to stand at a higher place than any bike frm india. **BEATEN UP RD350** every one says dat its impossible to beat RD350 but I did it . on may 1st while coming back frm a short trip to **SANGAM** around **100km** frm my place. Me wit a pillon rider on my **P220**(i was ridind d bike) were at around 65kmph and soon one guy wit a pillon rider on **RD** overtook me and invited me for a race . I went on till **87kmph on 4th gea**r and I shifted to **5th gear **and I crossed **120kmph **speed leaving **RD** some kilometers behind. **MAINTENANCE** I do agree dat its maintenance cost is high. for first four service the bill was around 300-400rs but **5th service** charges went upto **800+

** **THINGS TO REMEMBER** never ever go for an engine covering(guard) as the temp of engine goes up drastically.

never ever let the oil drops into rear disc brakes.

dont play with the wirings of this bike.

dont let ur bike in the rain for longer period bcoz of split seats the **rain water** enters into d bike and the

electric wirings gets disturbed and bike wont start(i had personal experience of this thing).

using high beam for longer period cracks the headlamp cover( my personal experience).

**MILEAGE

** as mileage is a gr8 concern for indians P220 gives a **decent 42-45kmph****harsh driving****35-42**

**HANDLING**

trust me I banged **R15 **at every corner of d drag race v did on d road. larger discs and decent weight adds to total comfort riding grip on**indian roads**. take good care of **FORK**.

**PROBLEMS**

maintaining **BAJAJ LOGO’S **& stickers is a big headace for me as the whole set costs around **2000rs.**.

in d **mirrors** I can only see my biceps and its useless.

fairing vibrations is high.

back disc brakes makes "**squeeeeeeeeakkkkkkkk"**" kinda sounds.

**indicators **is not upto mark.

**mis firing **happens after every **3000kms.**.

little bit **engine vibrations**.

last but not the least " **I LOVE MY BIKE LIKE ANYTHING" GR8 ENGINEERING AND GR8 THINGS HAPPENS ONES IN D LIFETIME.** again I fell in love wit its awsome **THROTTLE **response(much much better compared to **YEZDI**).

as I was in my native place for more than two months . therefore I just rode this vehicle for only **2000kms.

my experience now after owning it for almost **1.5 years** as I earlier mentioned the date also.

in the last month only I experienced missssfiring and engine choking at **8000rpm**. when I went to **PBK **they insisted on changing the **engine coi**l(present at the left side of the engine near gear box) that almost toook 2days time as this was their first encounter of the coil choking. now I got a new coil installed . I really say that **5years of engine warranty** plays a vital role for **P220.**

and now the mileage is giving around **40-45 city**. better go for **SHELL petrol bunk** bcoz their only u get pure petrol.

fill the tires with **nitrogen**(now available at HP bunks) this will keep the tires cool and the nitrogen helps in retaining the tyre pressure for almost **s.6month**. u’ll have a good mileage overalll.
