As the name goes Pulsar As200, As stands for adventure sports. The moter is 199cc liquid cool engine with carborater with triple spark 4 valve DTS-i technology. The bike features a projecter headlamp which comes often usefull in night time with a supportive DRL(day time running light). It has a semi faired fairing and a windshield in front which helps to reduce windblast at high speed and make the bike more stable om highway. The engine pumps 23.5 ps of power and 18.3NM of torque which comes at 9500rpm and 8000rpm respectively, which is more than enough for riding the bike in city. It comes mated with a 6 speed gearbox. When it comes to breaking it has best class stopping power with 280mm front disc and 230mm rear disc brakes. For the touring purpose it features a 12 litre tank which can last upto 450km easily.
Ride quality
When it comes to riding in city, it is such a delight. Nitrox mono suspension makes the ride comfortable for both rider and pillion. With the help of perimeter frame it can be easily flicked in traffic and with a kerb weight of 153 kg it dosent feel heavy. The brakes perform well when its time to shed some speed. On highway it builds some serious speed and can easily touch 135km/ph. When coming to fuel economy it retains around 35km per litre in city and 40km per litre on highways.
