Rare failure bike from Bajaj

Hello friends,

Today I am going to share my personal exp[erience with the new Pulsar 160 NS. The only positive thing for me is its good looks.

I got Pulsar 160 NS from a friend for using few days. To begin, Pulsar 160 NS is based on the Pulsar 200 NS but with a smaller tyre and smaller front disc brake. But both bikes look similar. However, it uses the perimeter frame from Pulsar NS 200 and thus offer good handling.

But the fact that Pulsar 160 NS got smaller tyre make it look odd and out of place. Also, the smaller tyre looks like it’s a commuter bike. The bike offers 15.3 BHP, which is a bit more than its competitors, it also makes the engine give out less mileage.

The bike weighs at 143 Kgs, which is a bit heavy for this category. And one of the most disappointing features for me was the lack of 6th gear. It seriously affects the pickup and performance of the bike. Due to it, once you cross 100-105 Kmph speed, the engine gives out rough vibrations and noise which is very bad in a fairly new bike.

Another disappointment is the lack of ABS in its front disc brake. ABS is very critical for non-skiddy driving and Bajaj failed to provide the much-needed feature. The worse thing is Bajaj is not offering a rear disc brake option in Pulsar 160 NS. At the age when all street and sports bikes are offered with rear disc brake option, absence of this option is another failure from Bajaj

The negatives of this bike is so much more that the positives and so I suggest you all go for another bike in this segment
