I own a pulsar 180 dtsi... I was plannin on buying a karizma... I know its expensive ... but was willin to spend just enough for the bike.... the looks are good enough.. styling is ok... but always found that the bike was feminine cos it dint have the masculine touch....(my friend owns one)... so was waitin for a better performance bike when the 180 dtsi came roarin thru the market literally vaporisin the karizma from the performance segment...
Yeah... I have heard silly claims that karizma can outdo a pulsar 180 dtsi..... that’s just a load of bull... overdrive has done performance tests on both the bikes and the pulsar 180 dtsi is quicker in acceleratin by more than 1 sec and about the top speed ..... it can hit 129 kmph where as karizma a mere 125 kmph...
I have also heard other false stories that karizma has better technology..... I’ll just say dtsi.....(digital twin spark ignition- 2 spark plugs controlled by a microprocessor).... which answers it all.... if u have 2 much of cash and want to simply spend it on a ok performance bike for the sake of mags and digital odometer......go ahead..... but dont blame me if u lose the drag race....and remember an 2000 run karizma and 0 run 180 dtsi was used..... so if a 2000 run pulsar 180 dtsi was used it would have easily made 135 kmph....and I don’t have to talk about the new aerodynamic masculine stylin which literally belittles the karizma.... all signs point to the fire breather -pulsar 180 dtsi.. am proud to own a 180 dtsi.... are you goin to be next.... best of luck!
