Highlights
Aesthetically different from what you expect from a Pulsar, the RS200 gets the edgy styling similar to KTM RC200 and R15. High on features and aggressively priced at Rs.1, 20, 800 ( ex-showroom, Delhi) , the RS200 is well placed to lead this segment soon. Design
The first thing you are bound to notice is that it looks nothing like a Pulsar and they have gone all hell out in making this all radical. The front end has a resemblance to the Energica Ego electronic bike with its dual projector headlights. They are encased in a thick black casing with a silver accent which adds to the profile. There are 3 pilot LED lamps on either side which don’t work as DRL’s and only activate when you switch on the parking lights. In addition to this, the turn indicators are also LED’s. There is a windscreen with a bubble effect and it performs pretty well in order to cut the wind blast. On crouching at high speeds, it plays its aerodynamic role in letting the wind shear over your helmet. The number plate and the rear view mirrors are mounted via the same bolts on the faring. The mudguard is body colored with a few decals over it. ABS stuck boldly on the ABS models right next to the telescopic forks which are introduced in matte black. The RS gets the same alloys from the NS but has a larger disc brake at 300mm. I think the introduction of ABS was anticipated since a while on these Pulsar bikes and this is a good move by Bajaj.
