Using for the first time Digital Twin Spark Ignition (DTSi) technology in scooters Bajaj has launched Wave with I-Continuous Variomatic Transmission (I-CVT). The automatic scooter runs on 110 cc, 4 stroke engine while, in Chetak 4-S, Bajaj has upgraded the engine to 125 cc.
Bajaj 2 Wheelers can be safely said , carried India on its back since long. I remember, it was required to book these two wheelers (Bajaj Chetak) 2 years in advance.
If it is told outside people will not believe it !!! after paying around Rs.16, 000=00 people had to wait for 2 years to take delivery of their Scooters, that too at the Bajaj office you used to get offers of extra money immediately seeing the delivery intimation in your hand.
Those were the days, now LIBERALIZATION of economy, consumer is spoiled for choice, but the quality is still with Bajaj, as they understand the Climate and Road conditions of India, Their vehicals survived those days, so now they should be respected, Fuel consumption is bad in their old vehicles, or even in new vehicles, maintainence is very very cheap, too cheap.
Imagine Rs.250=00 you can get complete overhaul of your 2 wheeler and all spare parts are cheap for bajaj products.
well things change some for good some for better some for worse. I am grateful to Bajaj for providing india vehicles in the past to make it easy to carry families on its back.
I have seen 4 or 5 people riding on scooters frequently, now new vehicles cannot take this torture. Any way bajaj will remain in good books of India always, there will be people to Buy it , use it, There will never be a dreath for Bajaj vehicles.
