Five months later

This is the update that I’m writing after a 5 months of the 1st service. The bike is now performing much more than I had ever expected.

My bike now has smoothened out quite a bit. The milage has decreased and I get upto 50-53 kmpl. Maybe its because of my style of riding and also that I’ve now become a speed demon. The bike brakes are quite ok but I sometimes wish I had disk brakes. It’s quite easy now to get it to neutral.

Bajaj somehow has kept the weight factor down. Compared to other bikes in the same category.

On the looks side the wind is a much better looker than the bikes form the hero-honda stable (baring the CBZ of course). At least they have’nt gone crazy and added all those cheap graphix stickers all over like the heor honda guyz !

The engine is definately very very silent. This is very apparent when in the 5th gear where the bike is really silent and so very smooth, its an amazing feeling.

One of the big fuck-up’s is the absence of some kind of an easily accessible ’locker’. The only place to keep stuff like bike-papers is below the seat which is a pain to remove. If a RTO pandu asks u to show ur papers it’s a painfully long process to slide the side panel and then take the seat off to retrive the papers.

Soon it’ll be time for the second service when I’ll update this space..

Happy biking..
