Dont think..go for it

Life is full of laws. You can’t get a bike that gives a mileage of 100 and a power of a sportsbike. If you can, then you have to pay fortune for tha technology. So keeping that in mind I would like to state here that I believe any is ’good’ or ’bad’ depending what u want/need out of it.

The wind125 is a bike that is perfectly balanced and so u obviously will get a good power for the average u get, but bajaj tuned the bike towards the performance side. So u get a slightly low mileage of 55kpl but you get a performance that no other 125cc 4-stroke will give ya.... One more good thing is that the 55kpl is a figure no matter WHAT u do with the bike.

The golden rule is to think smoooth. Acceleration, riding, braking, watever. Even the idle is best set at a low 800rpm(bajaj says 1000-1500) that gets the engine used to low figures and will be beneficial in the long run.

The service centres I cant really comment on because I am loyal to only the Borivali Sai service one..which is awesome considering the professionality with which they handle things...but u have to set an appointment...or you just can’t get anything done.

I have toured moderately on her and it was a beautifully flawless experience...i almost felt like getting down on my knees and praising the engineers who designed every part in a way that none break the chain of perfection that all the components maintain.

However , I heard bajaj will discontinue the wind125 due to royalty issues with kawasaki...which gets me to shout this...pls dont even look at the discover, as a substitute, even if u have to pay extra for the wind125...if nothing else I know about bikes and I can tell ya the wind125 is like one of those perfect products that doesnt get its due for some silly, unrelated reason.

The reason they have reduced production...and are planning to stop it is because they are paying kawasaki royalty for the design and they have avoided that by launching a bike I the same segment...the discover.I repeat...go for the wind125 while u still can.

Anyone who needs decent mileage and power without compromising either can buy this bike. and , yeah, its the best looking bike in its class. specially the white tachometer rocks...no doubts on that. avoid the red one though.

my bike is at 6650kms.

avg mileage is 55kpl

top speed is 105 but practical top speed is 100kph..that u can attain on any flyover

GO FOR THE DISC BRAKE ONE

only one indicator bulb was changed(apart frm regular service changes)

....and yes . if u dont like the suspension..pls note the wind125 has a 5 way adjustable suspension...so adjust it!!!

Pls write to me for any further information required
