Bajirao Mastani, a much hyped movie by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It is as usual a Bhansali typed movie with lot of grandeur and melodious songs. The plot was good but making a film with historical background may be dangerous if not researched properly. Maybe that is the reason why a 4 minutes disclaimer was made before the start of the film. However the casting was hefty and Ranveer Singh again proved his talent with a new Avatar. Deepika is an awesome actress with beauty and brains. Priyanka proved satisfactory performance as per the directors choice.
But this movies only revolved around the lovestory of Bajirao and Mastani, with less light on other historical events associated with Bajirao. War scenes could be made more thrilling and fascinating. However the set designer did an awesome job and appreciation should be given to the graphics and visual effects team. Overall it is an one time see movie but the music and songs are good to listen.
