All the people around are boasting about this movie, please read what bajirao really was.
When you see the trailer you expect something like a fighter kind of a movie or something alike bahubali but with a Tinch of the maratha warrior and little romance.
Sanjay Leela bhansali u make movies but what do you do in the beginning of the movie you say you have made certain alterations in the character, please don’t do it they are something worth to be remembered and they did not fight because they knew one day u will be changing their character.
Acting if you say it’s really good all of them have performed very well, but when you go to see a fighter movie or something related to fighting/warrior, all there is a narration of how much bajirao peshwa acquired in the background voice, what about the real blood and action which bajirao was actually involved in.
I just hope Mr bhansali doesn’t make a movie of Shivaji so dull which all the children have been hearing since childhood and then mix it with love and suicide and nonsense like ram Leela which suited ramleela but not when you are going to watch a freedom fighter.
Dance moves, set, acting which is in majority dull with emotions also well done for a warrior story are exceptionally good. But it’s not something you would go and watch and come happy out of the theatre saying wow what a warrior, you will come out saying ya the acting was good but ending was sad, now the readers decide what they want to say after they come out of a theatre.
I’m not a maharashtrian neither am I a religion specific person about it, but common if a warrior falls in love it’s okay to show in the movie but where the hell are the wars and battles or the strategies or extreme politics which are involved in a warriors life all ruined with sets and glamour showy lights.
Grow up and know what a warrior is and please decide would you like to come out a theatre with a banging smile on your face like you might have come out from Bahubali, or would you like to come out a little dull and just appreciate the sets, dancing and the acting of course.
Bottom line everything is good except the story line Hahaha and what can you do if you could not build the story properly you show the people dance and other stuff. Decide wisely guys, we Indians should grow watching warriors pridely not find pity for them
