Bala, one of the movie I was desperately waiting to watch, so was it worth or not ? Let's find out . BALA is written really very well and it keeps you glued to the screen. Second thing the story writer and director has taken care of is that the topic selected is very much relatable in today's world. Most of them would relate to it very easily. Bala is film about insecurities that we all carry in our mind & life about our OUTER LOOK & APPEARANCE and how we ruin our life completely. But it is SELF ACCEPTANCE that will conquer over all insecurities. Movie has all things that everyone can easily relate to and there is nothing like fantasising which typically happens in big banner films. And now a days this genre films work very well. Today's generation are not very keen on BIG starcast for a good movie, they want good content and if this is what film industry understands then they would be making really superb movies. Coming to BALA , they have taken absolute care of every small things from the dressing sense to kanpuri accent to how marketing is done and many more such things which we easily relate to. Direction by Amar Kaushik is fantastic and so are the writers of the film. The first half of film is hilarious and fast paced, where as second half is a bit stretched and at slow pace. Yami Gautami as TIKTOK sensation has fabulous job and it suits her very well. Bhumi pednekar is marvelous but only complaint here is that there was too much of make up ( which was very much visible ) to make her look dark skinned girl. Aayushman Khurrana, well this is the name that is going to be remembered for decades, not only for the different types of roles he accepts to do films but also because how he performs exceedingly well. People will forget Khans & Kapoors, but it would be tough for them to forget this charming actor. Also kudos to the make up artist of Aayushman, because not for a single frame in film you would realise that he is not bald. Aayushman is on a roll and as his name suggest AAYUSHMAN = LONG LIVE, he will lead the next generation of bollywood actors. The supporting cast of Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jafri, Seema Bhargava etc have done good job. This film is definitely worth a watch, Self Confidence & Self love are the most important thing in our life.
