Why don’t u all take it the other way round? For eg: Phooli (Anandi’s friend) who doesn’t even know what it is to be a widow.
Did Maji-sa not curse her for always coming to their house, for seen on occassions when Maji-sa is going out for some important work when she herself is portrayed as a widow. As we stay in a country like India and there are many people around (be they men or women) who curse and want a tit-for-tat situation when something goes against so-called man-made rules or when you cross someone’s word of honour.
Don’t we as human say "There it serves him/her right. What did the person think that he/she could get even with me".
In such circumstances, this probably has been portrayed to show that what if a similar situation happens in Maji-sa’s own home, how would she react to the given situation, with Sugna who also is a child though maybe agewise she maybe a bit elder than Phooli. She as such mis treats everyone except for Sugna & Jagdish.
My sincere request to you all is not to jump at conclusions. Let us wait & watch how this serial takes a turn. Also this harsh reality does exist at many places but as nothing comes to light, none of us are aware of such situations.
