We decided to visit Goa for relaxation and enjoyment during 14.5.2005 - 17.5.2005 hence decided to stay at reasonably good beach resort. I made a lot of search on the Internet and based on reviews, ratings and communication with their marketing executive Mr.Kenneith, decided to stay at Bambolim Beach resort. I had communicated with Mr.Kenneith on various occassion and clearly communicated my requirement. He made a promise that apart from resort service, his personal service will also be available throughout. I was thrilled to reach their and have my best excursion trip. However, to my surprise, when I reached Bambolim beach resort on 14.5.2005 at 7.30 pm, we were told that Mr.Kenneith is out of station and may not be available during the entire stay period. We were allotted two cottages 101/102 facing sea, which was really a fantastic location to enjoy. However, to our shock, when we settled in the room, we found that the bathroom lock of 101 is not working. The attandant and the front office executive Mr.Sanjeev promised us to replace/repair the same by morning. However, the same was not even attended during the stay. Restaurant - Green Valley . As seen, the restaurant facing sea is the excellent location, one can enjoy. But surely not in Green Valley. On 15.5.2005 we decided to have breakfast before we start our excursion trip to Goa. However, we were told that only Omllet, Patato vada (Alu Banda) along with tea, milk with cereal is available as they are preparing for some lunchparty. Our bad luck that our visit was co-incided with their party. God know, thats theonly for them to survive. On 16.5.2005 we decided to have early morning tea at the restaurant instead of in the room. We had placed an order to tea, which was served after 20-30 min of waiting and that too without sugar. On request, the person brought the sugar after 10 min. by the time our tea got cold. We had lost our cool and when fired, tea was served again for two person after 15-20 min. Overall we lost our cool and time. On 16.5.2005, as we were tired after full day of fun, and wanted to have early food, hence we came back and placed an order for chinese food at 8PM to room service, however, the food was served at 10.30 pm and on singing bill, we realised that one dish was given extra and another dish was not served at all. We reported the matter to the room service and asked them to serve immediately, by the time dish reached our room, our childern were at fast sleep. After we started eating, we realised that the we had placed an order to non-veg item whereas the veg. item was served, which further irritated us and we decided to finish food without even compalining. I hope such service and hospitality will definately irritate the people, who goes with planning. My recommendation, people should go to Bambolim beach resort only with intentation to enjoy the beach location and should not have any expectation on service and food. My overall rating 2.0 out of 10 and that is for location
