Well This seems like the most debated topic around India atleast for the past year or so.India has a
tendency always of making false promises and never making things happen.This FTV episode has been raging since a year atleast ,
protest marches taken out, slogans yelled promises to remove the channle but well I can still see that nothing has worked.
Anyways personally I feel in a country like India FTV is not necesaary.We have enough problems
without it .
See my reasoning here is very clear.India is not yet
progressed to the stage of actually watching the fashion that is prevelant right now. What I mean is tat majority of India’s population being rural or semiurban find it hard tp appreciate fashion as just fashion .The models are looked at in a cheap way of entertainment.(If you catch what I mean ).This is ofcourse becoz of the preconceived notion that models have loose morals and values.The dresses they display are more appreciated for what they reveal than their actual beauty.Modelling is yet to be appreciated as just another job .The lack of good education and an open mind is the major reason I am against FTV in India.It is really unfair to the models and the designers if so.
