Mudumalai - Bandipur Forest Road

Project Tiger Reserve.

*Attractions

*We completed the trip at Ooty and started the return trip to Bangalore.

When crossing Mudumalai we started to search for any animals.Luckily we spotted out some Deers crossing the roads. After that some monkeys on the road side. I drive my car only on 2nd gear. Suddenly we saw some of the cars parked on the left side of the road.

We witness an Elephant with its Baby Elephant very closer to the road.We took some snaps of the Elephant (on the way) and reached Bhandipur Wildlife Park, Karnatka. The time we reached Bhandipur (around 4.30PM), is the time of feeding the Elephants. We enjoyed it and we saw two baby elephants playing among them.

*Request*

Do not stop the vehicle while travelling in this forest road. Keep 30-40 km/hr. Sometimes Animals will try to cross the road. If you stop the vehicle, you wii be penalized by the forest department officials.

Please Do not smoke while crossing this thick Forest. Due to Forest Fire the vegetation growth will get retarded and the animals will move from their own places due to fire on the grazing areas.

*Overall*

Its very nice and pleasant trip. Wildlife lovers will love this place.

Have a Happy wildlife Journey.
