Poor Customer Service

I had to reset my ATM card pin recently. When I went to my bank branch, the person asked me to give the request in writing. I did so and I was told that it will be done with a week’s time, and the new pin will be posted to my address.


When I did not receive it even after 2 weeks, I again approached the bank and I was again told 1 week. I went a third time, to come to know, that my letter was still lying there somewhere. and again I was told a week’s time.


When even after a month, I had not received the new PIN, I had to march to the bank for the fourth time and hurray, I got the new PIN.


So it took nearly 45 days with this bank to reset the PIN, which is only an hour or two, with other private banks.When I updated my pass book today, I came to know the price for this "EXCELLENT" service. They have charged Rs.113, for "Recreation of PIN".
