I have an account with this bank for almost 5 years now. I am not very happy with their services.
I have recently moved due to service transfer, but my account is still in the old branch.
The Star Token NG, the mobile application, especially is very slow & not user friendly at all. Also, once its enabled we cant do any transactions or login through webpage login anymore. So, if its stuck, you are forced to go to visit the bank.
In this hi-tech age also, I have to make visits to the bank branches for getting even small issues resolved. Most of the procedures involve handwritten application submissions in bank branches, only handful options are available online.
There is no proper online/telephonic customer care available. Single toll free customer care number is available PAN India which is busy 24 hrs a day.
The contact numbers of branches either dont exist or nobody responds to the calls. I dont get any replies even to the e-mails sent to bank branches.
Its very painful to manage your account if your home branch is at a distant location or different state etc. Other branches mostly delay or ignore or dont provide the requisite support.
Nobody calls the customer if there is a transaction stuck somewhere. Eg- My Star Token has stopped working. I have put an application for urgent NEFT transaction in pen & paper by physically visiting the bank 3 days ago. They assured it would be done next day. However, the transaction is still not done. There is no information or discussion from the bank end as to why its stuck and I have to visit the bank again now.
Bank should understand that their customers are also working in their respective offices during their customer entry hours, mostly less than our working hours & frequently visiting branches is not practically possible. Its very disappointing to get such treatment.
