Barbeque Nation( Andheri Branch) is always my first choice for family dinners and get together. Love the ambience! It’s a no nonsense, classy place. They have ample seating arrangements, so even if its booked, you wouldn’t have to wait for more than 15 mins.
To be honest, I have never come across a restaurant in India that provides a grill on the table itself. The waiters pleasantly don’t hover. They quietly refill your drinks, bring extra skewers, occasionally adjust the flame and vanish.
The food is amazing to say the least. Apart from the assorted kebabs brought to table. Their buffet offers an amalgamation of Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian etc. Once they even served sushi! The change of the menu works for me. Buffet, several time gets predictable in other restaurants like Global Fusion hence Barbeque Nation’s constant change in the menu is refreshing.
On weekends they have a live band. Thankfully the singers are young and refrain from boring us with gazals and forgotten numbers. They usually sing the latest chartbusters of the west and the east. I wouldn’t call it ‘eating out’. Barbeque Nation is an experience and a good one at that.
