Okay so this was the first time I visited BN after all the hype I’d heard about the kind of food you get there, especially the starters.( Note: All my friends who had been there informed that you get a glass of alcoholic drink complimentary with the buffet. Also that non alcoholic drinks are unlimited.)
First we tried to book a table in Phoenix Marketcity via dineout, where they said they would confirm the booking by 1 pm. At 4 pm, they confirmed that seats are full. Since the excitement was still on we changed the venue to another branch. We booked a table in Korum Mall, Thane. Reached just 5 mins late and missed the early bird pricing. Nevertheless, still excited we got seated just to realise that there are NO drinks included at all in the menu! Not even non-alcoholic! You need to pay extra if yoh wish to have them. So basically you are shelling out approx Rs. 1050 just to EAT!
Coming to food, the starters were good. Not extra ordinary though. Main course had only one good option and that was Biryani. And the deserts were good overall.End of the day, I dont think its worth spending the amount only on food. You can rather go to a restobar, have drinks and order what you please and pay almost the same price. Not at all VFM.
( Note: the layout at Korum mall is such that inspite of being seated at such a BIG restaurant you dont get a feel of it since its almost like an open space.)
