Every now and then I get a call from credit card companies, trying to sell me credit card. I used to think that they are all such a looser, until I got this call from Barclay’s Bank. They are awesome - they don’t believe that you should go through all the hassle of signing papers, address verification and everything. So they cold called me and said that I was an existing customer (how cool - no paper work). But the down side is they also informed me that I have been using it very frequently, but not paying back as much as they like. And that I haven’t paid my bill in last 2 years (so were you guys sleeping so far).
Other interesting thing is that they thought that I lived in Mumbai for those years. (I am the guy who lived in two cities at the same time. They asked me now to pay it ASAP, else they will send sometime to my office and then my career will be spoil (couldn’t believe that they thought it could scare someone. They kept calling and this time she told me that this case has come to her and she will recover the money from me come what may :D - How stupid.
Can’t say that you avoid them - they may not give you that option.
