Bardaasht directed by E.Niwaas and story by Vikram Bhatt can encorage you to watch movie atleast ones. But when the each frames passes by the question picks out is this E.Niwaas`s film, who has given in the past films like Shool, Love Ke Liye..., Dum which were best movies for director who have just enter into the industry.
Film story takes the background of 70s films. Hero working hard for only brother and when his brother gets murder, he fight against people who were involve.
Bobby is an army officer who is suspended for not obeying orders of senior officer. By this suspension order he also suspended from love by his grilfreind Lara Dutta the daughter of senior officer.
He comes to city starts the travel agency and looks after his young brother (Ritesh Desmukh) who is the funny guy. Mischeif of Ritesh are increasing day-by-day, so the college`s principal calls Bobby and asks him to give few words of understanding to his brother. Bobby and Ritesh have tu-tu-mein-mein over the issue and in the anger Ritesh leaves the house.
When next day Ritesh does not return home, Bobby make his way to police-station. Here he finds out Ritesh is shot in an encounter for doing the business of drugs on large scale. Bobby is shattered.
At this point film looks to take new point but but but......, E.Niwaas also follows the foot-step of masal film. He investigate himself and comes to the conclusion that police inspector Rahul Dev and his two fellow-men (Vishwajeet Pradhan and Ganesh Yadav) are involve in this fasle-encounter.
Rahul Dev does it just to be in the media, front-page. Bobby decides to fight against the bad-cops in the court, whose case is taken by the famous advocate (Nagesh Bhosle). At this point Bobby gets finds his lost love back.
Lara Dutta assists Nagesh Bhosle. She hers the conversation between the Bhosle and cops , and talks with Bobby and takes case in her hand. Two main witnesses of Tara Sharma and Virendra Saxsena gives turning point to the film which puts some life in the film but just for time. and in the end ’’SATYAMEV JAYATE’’.
Story of Vikram Bhatt is stright forward but in the Screenplay he does the good job to create the excitement at each point, but E.Niwaas fails to give same touch on the screen. It looks that he has shown very lessfaith in the Screenplay.
Booby Deol has good opportunity to prove himself , but he has taken lot of care that his face does not change in any of the scence. Lara Dutta has given good peformance in the advocate tough role, emotional scence were also upto the mark. Lara Dutta is working hard, and in very less time she will be in the top lists. But Bobby oh dear.........
Film’s all responsibility is taken by middle order artists. Rahul Dev just phenominal and he is quite settling down in the villan chair comfortably. Vishwajeet Pradhan and Ganesh Yadav, Nagesh Bhosle gives good support. Virendra Saxsena as always natural on the screen.
Ritesh shows some glimpse of good acting in short role, but Tara (Arrrrrr.........rrra) Sharma does worst even than Bobby Deol.
Music of Himesh Reshamiya was just average. Silsilay was good, Janbe ali another pub song was also ok but coreography was below average. Other songs in the film just fill in the gaps.
With solid performance form the supporting artists, cinematography form Rakseh Manikantan is of very high standard. Dialouges were ok but to the lips which it were written they made it more oridinary (Ufff.. Bobby). Action are also well directed. Background scores form Amar Mohile (Bhoot fame) suits to the plot.
E.Niwaas looks taking lots of intreset in the police life his third film after Shool, Dum exposing the some bad deeds of the false enconter which few years ago were holding the main page of news-paper. But 2002 film Encounter- the killing, and this year Ab Tak 56 doesn`t keep any freshness in the topic of the film.
Still different touch of E.Niwaas expects some miracle in the film, but is completely failed. And in the past Bobby as solo hero in the film Badal, Solider, Bicchoo has deliver the best to his performance level, but in tis film he looks just statued.
As no freshness in the film, it has already out of the Box-Office.
