The whole idea of a coffee joint is some place you pop into on your way to work or while your waiting for the rain to let up. Well not so at Barista. A visit into the joint will set you back anything between Rs. 50-100, so that doesnt make it accessible to everybody, well not on a daily basis atleast. The world over coffee joints are known for their regular everyday clientele who have their standard order day after day. If Barista wants to have that kind of following, they ought to have a huge discount program for regulars. I particularly find the seating very business like, a couple of couches would give the place a little warmth. The whole chain lacks that feeling of warmth, seems as though each outlet has been clinically replicated. I particularly find the lighting too bright, but thats not too much of an issue. A crossword or stuff like that at tables would be fun. The whole idea about a coffee joint is not that its an event, like going to a fancy restaurant, though thats what its turned out to be. One shouldnt have to think twice about stepping into a joint like this about the damage its going to have on his/her wallet.
