New Music directors, new taste, new success

Bas Ek Pal the music album has avery attractive cover. Leaving the clichés behind, the red white combinationwith lots of flashy pictures is a very refreshing change. Over all with threemusic composers the album is a value for money product, with different tastesand genres included.

The album kicksoff with “Hai Ishq Kya” composed bythe guest composer here the underdog of 2006 after Reshammiya, Pritam. A goodsong with energetic dance feel, this song is good but should have been placedlater in the album. The lyric is satisfactory and the singers KK and Sunidhihave done the job superbly. Then comes the soothing number “Tere Bin” by the in vogue Paki singer Atif Aslam. Musicwonderfully composed by Mithoon and Atif himself the splendid words areamazingly woven is the soulful music arrangement. The hard work of the lyricisthas been acceptably justified by Atif. This song is my favourite in the album. Thenwe have KK and Zubeen Garg (the new singing sensation – only in the back vocals)up for “Zindagi Hosh Mein”. A verygood lyric, melody supported by good upbeat instrumentation and good singingtalent display by KK. The composer Vivek Philip has also displayed his talentsin this song. Next on the list is, title track “Bas Ek Pal” by KK & Dominique Cerejo. A song with good fusionkind instrumentation the use of tabla is formidable. The lyrics areexceptional, I even like the video. The composer has played very well with theinstruments and the singers have also executed the song in an impressive way. Followingthe title track we have “Ashq Bhi” sungby again KK and Sunidhi. The song is composed by Vivek Philip, amazing salsalike song with typical earthy Indian https://lyrics. Great use of the latino guitar andsimilar feel free instruments but very well tilted in the Indian flavour. Thesingers here also do a remarkable task.

Staying with theguitar feel subsequently we enchant our ears with “Dheemay Dheemay” by the same deadly duo KK and Sunidhi. Simple buteffective instrumentation is the USP of this song. Vivek Philip composes arelaxing song with full integrity to the eminent lyrics by the lyricist. Fromtrack 7, the remixes take the control at 7 we have “Bas Ek Pal Remix” remixed by Erik Pillai with Atif’s name inbrackets. The song makes notable uitilzation of 4/4 beats with the retro and70’s disco feel. Next on the list is “TereBin Remix” the robotics effect is easily identifiable in the song. The songhas the beats to make you dance which is remixed by Erik. A very good remix ofan exceptional song. Sellable 4/4 beats with great mixing skills display andstill keeping the feeling of the songs intact. Last is the song “Zindagi Hosh Mein Remix” , it is alsoaccomplished by Erik. It has the needed club feel that the previous two trackslacked. The last track seems to leave you thinking why did one have to remixsuch great tracks??? Just to follow the super hit trend!!!!

All in all thisis a good album to play at any situation. You have a bad starting dance trackwhich should have been remixed but is not. You have slow, soulful and touchysongs for your satisfaction. I do recommend it if you want to listen tosomething new from the new artists.
