Bassein is a city in Mumbai and is known as Vasai. It is known for its Vasai fort which is attraction part of the city. Its a fort gifted to Portuguese by Bahadur shah of Gujarat for protecting him from Humayun Mughals. It is basically a historic place and is 6-8 km far from vasai station. I have visited this place with my cousins as they stay in vasai only. We went to just explore the place and beleive me its a beauty to watch. The fort is build by the old architecture and is very big. We click a lots of photos and selfie too. By my cousin I came to know that now many photographer come there for photo shoot and is common for pre-wedding photo shoot. I loved the place, its full of nature and history too.
