I had a pathetic experience with BATA. Based on the experience I would suggest not to buy any Bata products.
Few months ago I got a POWER shoes from BATA, Annanagar, Chennai. On using within few weeks the top layer has peeled off. On checking with the show room they told that there is no warranty for this. but with the same condition I have been using(as I do not want to thro thousand and odd rupees product within few weeks) as it is. by another few weeks(likely 3-4 months from the date for purchase) the top portion had got detached for 2-3 inches from the sole, and then the sole also spileted to 2 pieces where they had the joints. I had never got any proper response from the showroom for any of these problems.
But this is not the only experince from Bata, as earlier I had a problem with a Sandals.
