A friend and myself bought two pairs of Weinbrenner branded shoes from Bata Showroom in Commercial street, Bangalore, so that we could use it for the trek planned on weekend. Just after starting the trek, my friends shoes gave way. A gap started showing up where the upper part was glued to the sole. So I decided not to use it for the trek. But even with everyday use, glue on even my shoe started giving way.
Went back to bata showroom today and he said he’ll mend it and give it in a week. But didn’t expect weinbrenner brand to have such poor durability.
Update: I wrote to customer service though form on https://bata.in and in couple of days, I received response asking for details. I provided the details and the owner of the shop called me next day saying that they got call from bata. They have fixed it and its good to go now. If the issue is seen again, please bring it to our notice. I’m yet to go get the shoe back.
