In Bollywood when the movie making started, the history based or caste, rich-poor issues type movies were made, when the trade changed with Manoj Kumar, the movies based on nation were made. The issues were looking very serious beacause of acting in old days. But now Indian cinema have a circle, Producers thinks only about money making, so Good movies are dieing due to Budget.
The Film ’Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is a based on a serious issue. But the story is poor and acting of lead actors are not justifying with the film. After watching the film, once again Shahid Kapooer looks bad. When I saw him in Padmawat, he looked very serious with his character. But this time he looks like a monkey who have two fruits in both hands and thinking which one he eats first. He selected a good movie but he gave poor performance. In bollywood many movies have been made on serious issues such as Toilet-Ek Prem katha, Subh Mangal Sawadhan etc. And they got hit on silver screen because of story and performance. This Film is based on electricity issue. Shradhdha kapoor ( Lalita) and Divyandu Sharma ( Sundar) are also with the Shahid kapoor ( Sushil) . Lalita is a fashion designer, Sundar is a businessman and Sushil is a Lawyer. Yami is present as a Lawyer too. There is a scene in the film, a book is found in yami’s bag. Why this scene is present, I could not understand. If anyone is going to watch this film, then help me to understand it if you understand this scene.
