Bausch is the choice !!!

I have been wearing lenses for the past ten years and yes I would say Bausch and Lomb is a great choice. I selected this when it was one of the few good brand of lenses available in India.

I have tried both semi hard and soft lenses. Lenses are something which need getting used to. After all its something external which you are putting in your eyes and there will be irritation for a week but after some days it settles down. Yes, some people are not compatible with lenses. I recommend they stick to glasses. For those who are comfortable with lenses I would definitely recommend this brand to you.

This brand has its own cleaning solution and deprotenising tablets. The lenses are priced at a good rate. It should cost you about 2000 odd for a pair. I dont know if the prices have increased.

The best think about these lenses are that they are very comfortable to wear and remove.

Of course, you have to remove them before sleeping. Try avoiding wearing your lenses when you are sleeping. The risk if eye cancer is less but its there. So proper usage of lenses are very important.

Wash your hands when you are putting on your lenses or removing them. Wash your lenses with the solution before wearing them by rubbing the lenses with your forefinger on the palm of your hand.

If you are not using a deprotenising solution, deprotenise your lenses once a fortnight with the tablets.

I personally use Renu’s Deprotenising solution which is two in one. It deprotenises as well as cleans.

If you have any eye infection, do not use lenses.

Wear coolers when you are out in the sun. This protects your lenses as well as your eyes.

Lenses are a bit difficult to wear in dry and dusty weather conditions but if your eyes is lubricated enough you will not have much problems. Its just a matter of adjusting to the climate. This brand has seen me through different types of weather conditions and I havent had any problems with my lenses as far as the quality is concerned.

Keep your lense case clean. Remember lenses are very delicate and you need to take good care of them so that your eyes remain healthy.

Do change you lenses once in two to three years. Visit the optician once a year. He will let you know if you need a change.

And last but not the least do clear your doubts with a certified optician if you are planning to take up contact lenses.
