A.k hangals family z a joint family with his brothers, daughter of late brother, their wife’s and offcourse his old father. The name of the house is shanti niwas but, not any sign of shanti or calmness really exists in that family.
The life of the family is very much complicated one with family striving to find a good servant as they are completely in habbit of reaching late @ their works. Also, in the city their is a rumour of an smart servant who after some day of work stole everything from its masters house in the starting background.

i nreally recognise this movie as one of must watch movie as now we really see the problem of integration among families. Also, the theme being so simple yet is very catchy khanna as a servant was really appealling...
This movie had made my perception about hrishikesh da as a movie maker of middle class values & with his every movie my this view strenthened as all his movies were strongly portraying the common man & his day to day sufferrings with perfections. Really he had a gr8 understanding of common masses. It all was my view about this movie ...feel free to comment
