I am a satisfied customer of Tata Indicom. I am very comfortable with their customer service and promised speed.But I wanted to try Beam as its cheaper :-)
I went through almost all reviews here. They are very helpful and informative.I found:1. Beam is cheaper and provides good speeds too. Staff is not professional and not competent.
Ok. Still I want to try beam. I sent an SMS by looking at one of the posters.Next day received call from sales person. Asked him to visit on Sat Morning before 10:00 am. He came 9:00 am Sat. I took 2 Mbps connection for 6 months. So, zero installation fee.He gave commitment that connection will be provided by Tues Day evening. I said I will give the cheque with Wed Day date and If I don’t get connection by Tues Day evening I will issue stop payment instructions to the bank. He is ok with it.Sun day 3:00 pm received call from sales person saying , technician is waiting outside to give connection.I am surprised. Technician gave connection in 15 min and received user id and pwd in 5 min via SMS. I am getting consistent 2 Mbps download and 1.5 Mbps upload speed(Measured using Speedtest.net).

Thanks to the friends who were not happy with beam and shared their views here.They really helped me to talk to sales guy tough and take commitment.
