I have been a Beam Telecom customer ever since it started and I have recommended it to 15-20 members in my family as well as friends and colleagues(You guys have 15-20 connections just because of me, thank me).
The company in reference has provided excellent service to me until recently, I must say that I didnt have internet disconnections for months, but the service is stumbling now(I guess because they dont care anymore).
From past December, I have had 13 disconnections(13 disconnections in less than 3 months). Many of these disconnections lasted for more than 3 days and in some cases 5 days, In the month of December I have had 14 days of disconnection without an apology or a reward.
I could have described every last of the 13 details if I had time, but for now let me tell what blunders this company have brought to me in the past months. Ill write them as points so that people reading this get me clearly.
- My first problem is frequent disconnections and unstable internet connection:
This problem is persistent since past December and I think will not go away at-least till the present employees of the company are in place.
- Internet speed is very slow after 10th of every month:
This is because of the 30 GB data cap they have on every connection.
Dear managers and administrators of Beam Telecom, you will soon lose thousands of customers just because of this, mark my words. Either increase the cap or watch your customers go elsewhere.
- Customer service says it will respond after 24 hours but often takes 4 or 5 times that number:
This is a rather strange scenario, your employees promise that they will fix my internet connection within 24 hours which itself is very long for me because I am a techie, I work at a technological company and it is required that I be online 24 x 7, but unfortunately your internet dis-service doesnt let me do that, your companys main problem lies within your employees at customer service desk and the technical service team, get rid of them and hire new people who might help you make a better business(just like the old times).
- Your online payment system is not ready:
This has been my problem number 1 since January, I paid INR 1360 through your online portal for the first time on 2nd January 2013, this amount was for the months of January and February(660+ 660) for two months.
The other day I called your customer service and asked them if my extra payment will be carried forward to the month of February and he said yes and registered a ticket under the title "billing clarification" and told me that someone from accounts department will contact me shortly(This was my first ticket) and no one called me till now.
Then 5 days later I called again and some other executive responded with the same excuse as above, needless to say I didnt get any call on that either.
Then I registered a third ticket in the first week of Feb 2013 as I had got an e-bill which asked me to pay for this month, again no one called, three days prior to today I got an email saying that I have not paid for the month of February and my account will be disconnected, so I registered a ticket number 4 with reference number 7631034 on 21st Feb 2013, I again didnt get any call from your careless account department.
Today on 23 February 2013 my account has been disabled because your account department didnt contact me to make a clarification, I ask you whose fault is it? Why did you disconnect my internet connection again? I have paid the full amount and when it comes out that I have paid the full amount what apology are you going to offer me?
IT TAKES YEARS TO ESTABLISH TRUST AND MINUTES TO RUIN IT, this is true in Beam Telecoms case.
I registered a ticket again today and the reference number is 7652910.
LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN, I HAVE ALREADY MADE THE PAYMENT OF FEBRUARY IN THE MONTH OF JANUARY, you can check my account information and get back to me so that I do not drag you to court for cheating me and disconnecting my account for which I had already made a payment.
I have to say this to new customers that Beam Telecom has been greatly disappointing me time and again and I am very dissatisfied with their service, if you want an internet connection from them I recommend you not to get it, it is waste of you money and precious time, these people have no sense of responsibly and they will to help their customers, they do not even realize that they are providing a service to people for which they are solely responsible and fail on many frontiers.
I am gathering information on other service providers and will soon change my ISP, I do not trust Beam Telecom anymore and wouldnt recommend it to anyone, I will even convince my friends and family to migrate to some other ISP, may be we would have to pay more but atleast we would get a reliable service.
