When we shifted to Ramky Towers 4 months back, we signed up for their 10 mbps line, little knowing that we were being duped by some smart salesmen with terrible technical support and pathetic service.
Two issues - enabling a toll free number - request raised 1.5 months back has not got serviced though they are very smart in sending an acknowledgement mail to say that your request will be serviced in 24 hours.
Second issue - VPN gets disconnected or connectivity is unreliable. Four service calls - had the same pattern. Request raised, immediate response that issue will be resolved / looked at within 24 hours, apology mail after 24 hours stating that they need some more time and then request closure mail. Escalation didnt help. Once an engineer came and said it is a corporate VPN issue. When I showed him how Photon works, they said it is a back office problem and it will get resolved on Monday. Request got closed without any follow up.
I am surprised with this service. If you ask to speak to any management, they hang up on you.
There is a lot of blame game within internal departments.
I am part of Senior leadership of a leading$10 billion mnc and this is a corporate connection! So I could imagine what the service level would be for a retail customer.
